Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 3) review

Posted : 12 years, 3 months ago on 6 January 2012 05:49 (A review of Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 3))

Ho God, I fully withdraw what I said in the earlier book. This third book in the series Black Dagger Brotherhood really surprised me. History well told and in no time I felt bored as the previous one. The creativity of the author really outdid himself and feel that the series will be even better. I'm reading the book four, because I consumed the third in two days. The story of Beauty and Zsadist is very beautiful, and full of overcoming difficulties, but together they can be happy in the end, as always right.

J.R.Ward or Lara Adrian?

Posted : 12 years, 4 months ago on 26 December 2011 03:51 (A review of Lover Eternal)

Hmm. what can I say about this book is the second of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I'd like to compare with other series much like of the author Lara Adrian, The Midnight Breed. Lara is good at describing the hottest scenes between the characters, places more emphasis on romance than to action. JRWard It seems to give more emphasis to the action scenes, multiple characters can fit in and work with them in the plot, Works best villains, though sometimes they seem lost in the stories, until in the end things fit together. Lara often seems to forget other characters to be alone with the main couple, this impoverishes the outward action to romance. I still prefer Lara because I like the scenes of romance rather than of action, the scenes of romantic JRWard not convince me much, I find them weak. Another thing that strikes me is that the plot "vampire" seems more plausible in Lara, already have so much fantasy JRWard together that do not get to actually believe in the plot. Combine the two authors to write one series would be really perfect, because I think complement each other. Anyway the story is very good and worth reading;)
